Softree Technology designed and implemented an end-to-end Healthcare Referral Management and Insurance Pre-Authorization Automation platform powered by Microsoft Power Platform, n8n workflow automation, Azure AI Document Intelligence, Azure OpenAI, and enterprise healthcare integrations. The solution centralized referral intake from multiple channels into a unified workflow, eliminating fragmented manual processes while ensuring consistent and secure data handling.

AI-powered document processing automatically extracted patient information, classified referral documents, validated required fields, and identified missing information before processing. Insurance eligibility verification was integrated directly with payer APIs, enabling real-time coverage checks and automated validation. Once eligibility was confirmed, the platform generated pre-authorization requests, attached supporting documentation, routed submissions to the appropriate insurers, and continuously tracked approval progress through centralized dashboards.

The solution also integrated with Salesforce Health Cloud, Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Power BI, creating a connected healthcare ecosystem that eliminated duplicate data entry, improved collaboration, provided real-time reporting, and delivered automated notifications to patients, providers, and internal teams throughout the referral lifecycle.
