Managing employee claim requests through emails and spreadsheets created significant operational inefficiencies for the client. Employees lacked visibility into claim statuses, while managers struggled to track approvals and settlement progress across multiple requests.
The organization needed a centralized system that could simplify claim submission, automate approval workflows, and provide real-time tracking of claim statuses. Manual processes were increasing administrative overhead and creating delays in approvals and settlements.
Additionally, the client required a solution that could be deployed quickly using Microsoft technologies already available within their environment while maintaining data security and governance standards.

Softree Technology designed and implemented a comprehensive Claim Request Management solution using SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
We built a user-friendly Power Apps Canvas Application that enables employees to submit, edit, view, and track claim requests through a centralized interface. SharePoint was used as the primary data repository, ensuring secure and structured storage of claim information.
To streamline approvals, we developed automated workflows using Power Automate. Once a claim is submitted, the workflow automatically routes requests to designated managers for review and approval. Approved requests are then forwarded to the settlement team for final processing.
The solution also includes status-based filtering, claim tracking dashboards, role-based access controls, and automated notifications, allowing stakeholders to monitor claim progress throughout the approval lifecycle.
