Softree Technology designed and implemented an AI-powered shipment delay prediction platform built on Microsoft Fabric to provide real-time visibility across the entire logistics network.
The solution integrated GPS tracking systems, ERP/TMS platforms, traffic feeds, and weather APIs into a unified data pipeline using Azure Data Factory, Event Hub, and OneLake. Feature engineering pipelines prepared operational data for machine learning models running on Azure Machine Learning.
Advanced XGBoost and Random Forest models continuously analyzed shipment patterns and generated delay probability scores for every active shipment. Interactive Power BI dashboards displayed high-risk shipments, fleet health, delay trends, and operational KPIs, while automated alerts recommended alternate routes and notified operations teams before delays escalated.
This architecture enabled logistics managers to move from reactive issue resolution to proactive delivery planning based on AI-driven predictions.
